Followed up by a double page spread on pages 2 and 3 with the Mayor taking central stage.

Rotorua city leaders and those at the forefront of some of the region’s biggest sectors are backing

a new media campaign encouraging people to buy local.

So why did the Mayor not buy her new hybrid Lexus vehicle locally?

Do as I say, not do as I do? Hypocritical? Or more egg on face?
