RDRR’s Policies:

• Enforce our District Plan which limits motel stays to 28 days;
• Restore Rotorua’s reputation as a tourist destination;
• Keep reserves from being developed into housing;
• Keep the Springfield Golf Course by offering a new long-term lease;
• Focus on essential services and maintenance;
• Minimise rates rises by reviewing everything and cutting costs;
• Convert the unused “cycle way” back into parking spaces in the CBD;
• Eliminate or at least minimise secret meetings from which the media and public are excluded;
• Ensure decisions are made only by those elected to do so and in public meetings; and
• Ensure democratic election arrangements for future elections.
