Dear Editor,
Arguments between rate payers and the deputy mayor, Mr. Donaldson, about discharging wastewater into the lake seem to be never ending.
Many years ago Mr. Robinson, the Mayor of Auckland was in the same position regarding discharging ‘cleaned’ wastewater into Auckland harbour. These arguments came to an abrupt end when he drank a glass of this water in public. I wonder whether Mr. Donaldson would be game enough to do the same.
